great teaching staff, really fascinating content. work is more research-based than your typical cse course, but I'd recommended if you have an interest in doing more of that style of work. Assignments are loads of fun and actually involve thinking.

From Dan's Comp electives

- Lectured by PhD students who haven't yet learned public speaking. Loads of ambiguity in assignments, but lecturer refuses to acknowledge this. Very broad, goes over all sorts of things you can do with image and video processing. Assignments are pretty cool, project can be very independent. No exam. So good if you are willing to put in the hours and learn/work on your own. Really fun course if you are interested in the field
- Lots of very difficult maths
- Loads to learn but assignments very ambiguous. Course managament is very messy. Topics are taught after they've been examined in assignments. Would be a much better course if was better handled.

Sounds awesome, totally doing it. I've been told it's good, but requires self-motivation ..... which sounds like most CSE courses.

DId it years ago, was a good course but most of the learning was in my own time during the major work. The actual lecture content is not hugely critical... If you're happy to do a lot of research on your own, it's a fantastic course
